About the Role
As a Product Owner at HashMicro, you will lead a team of System Analysts in translating business and product requirements into clear, actionable solutions for HashMicro’s ERP system. You will own the product backlog, define and prioritize product requirements, and work closely with Product Managers, Developers, QA, and Project Teams to ensure effective product development and delivery.
You will also play a key role in continuously improving HashMicro’s ERP by analyzing existing functionalities, identifying product gaps, and researching industry and ERP trends to support product development and innovation.
Responsibilities
- Lead, supervise, and mentor a team of System Analysts to ensure consistent quality of requirements documentation and product deliverables.
- Own and manage the product backlog by prioritizing, refining, and sequencing features based on the product roadmap and development capacity.
- Define detailed product requirements, including PRDs, user stories, and acceptance criteria, that are clear and actionable for the Development Team.
- Break down complex features into granular development tasks and delegate them to the appropriate team members.
- Conduct ongoing analysis of existing system features and modules to identify gaps, inefficiencies, and opportunities for improvement.
- Conduct research on industry best practices, accounting/business standards, and ERP trends to support product direction and development.
- Coordinate cross-functional development schedules and ensure individual responsibilities are clearly defined and tracked.
- Proactively identify risks and blockers, and propose solutions before they impact product development and delivery.
- Maintain clear and structured communication with product development stakeholders, including Developers, QA, Product Managers, and Project Teams.
- Ensure product requirements and deliverables are aligned with business needs, product objectives, and development priorities.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Information Systems, Business, or a related field.
- Proven experience in Product Ownership, Product Management, System Analysis, or Software Product Development.
- Experience leading, mentoring, or managing a team, preferably a team of System Analysts or similar roles.
- Strong understanding of product development lifecycle, requirements analysis, and software development processes.
- Experience creating and managing PRDs, user stories, acceptance criteria, and product backlogs.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to break down complex requirements into actionable tasks.
- Strong understanding of ERP systems and business processes; experience with ERP products is an advantage.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Strong communication, leadership, and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and coordinate cross-functional teams.
- Knowledge of accounting or business processes is an advantage.
- Experience with Odoo or other ERP platforms is an advantage.
