Public Relations Intern
Responsibilities
Develop compelling and engaging content across various platforms, including press releases, articles, and LinkedIn updates.
Craft stories that align with the company's brand narrative and resonate with the target audience.
Organize meetings with journalists and pitch story ideas to media outlets to secure coverage.
Identify and highlight unique PR strategies and brand stories that differentiate the company from competitors.
Plan and execute events that provide opportunities to tell the company’s story.
Requirements Intern:
Pursuing a degree in communications, public relations, journalism, or a related field.
Strong writing and editing skills, with a focus on creating clear, engaging content. Coursework or projects that showcase your writing abilities are a plus.
A creative mindset with the ability to think outside the box and suggest fresh angles for stories and content.
Good verbal communication skills, with a willingness to learn how to pitch stories and interact with media professionals.
An interest in and basic understanding of media landscapes and trends, especially in the tech or B2B sectors.
A keen interest in learning how to develop and execute PR strategies that incorporate storytelling to achieve business goals.
Willingness to work collaboratively within a team environment, contributing ideas and supporting various PR activities.
A strong desire to learn and grow within the PR field, showing enthusiasm for staying updated on industry trends and practices.
Ability to pay close attention to detail in all tasks, including writing, editing, and media outreach.
