Revenue Operation (RevOps) Specialist

Job Description

Revenue operations (RevOps) is a strategic approach that integrates and aligns sales, marketing, learning & development, and product with the goals of boosting revenue growth and enhancing the customer experience. It includes managing and optimizing the revenue operation process, from lead generation to customer acquisition and retention. RevOps also work closely with the sales, product, marketing, and learning & development teams to align efforts by using data and analytics to measure and improve performance.

 Job Functions

  • Manage and optimize the revenue operations process, from lead generation to customer acquisition and retention 

  • Work closely with the sales and marketing teams to align efforts and ensure a seamless customer experience 

  • Evaluate processes, programs, and systems to increase revenue, minimize costs, and improve customer satisfaction

  • Use data and analytics to measure and improve performance, including tracking key metrics such as lead conversion and retention rates

  • Identify critical issues impacting operations and strategy including productivity insights, lead-to-sales analysis, revenue analysis, and segment/account trends

  • Collaborate with other departments, such as product, customer success, and learning & development to identify and implement process improvements

  • Stay up-to-date on industry trends and best practices in revenue operations

  • Conduct market and customer research to understand the target audience and identify opportunities for growth

  • Identify and resolve challenges and issues within the revenue operations process

  • Contribute to the development and continuous improvement of the revenue operations process

  • Provide training and support to team members on revenue operations best practices and tools

  • Identify skill gaps and work with L&D department to develop a learning program with end-goal to improve revenue growth

  • Ensure all revenue key metrics are achieved • Provide business leaders with reliable data reporting systems, and work with management to prioritize business and information needs

  • Report directly to Managing Director and maintain good data hygiene

  • Any other duties assigned


Job Requirements

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with experience using data and analytics to improve performance • Detail-oriented and able to think strategically

  • Familiarity with sales and marketing tools, such as customer relationship management systems

  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with a team

  • Knowledge of the sales process and the company’s target audience and goals

  • Ability to conduct market and customer research to identify opportunities for growth

  • Strong project management skills, with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks and projects

  • Flexibility and adaptability to change

  • A desire to learn and grow in the revenue operations field, and a willingness to continuously improve and develop skills

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, or a related fiel
